Mjara is a vivacious, charming individual who loves nothing more than to laugh and entertain. They adore being the center of attention, and often have no problem achieving as such-- what with their energetic, witty conversational skills and amiable disposition.In some regard, you might consider Mjara an empathic sort; though, that's not to assume they always carry sympathy. They've spent decades cultivating an artform out of socializing, and have thusly honed their ability to read various cues, such as facial expressions and body language.Though they are not one to show their hand, Mjara is almost always scheming and working to manipulate people into their favor. At the end of the day, they are an individual very much out for themselves, and will do what is necessary to secure their agency. Be it seduction, or playing the unassuming role-- Mjara's actions are always calculated.

the history.

It was approximately twenty years ago that Mjara suddenly emerged in Ishgard at the arm of one Viscount Etienne Phovent. Approximately seven years into their marriage, however, the viscount suffered an untimely death. With no heir nor living male relative, Etienne's wealth thusly passed unto Mjara. Though there is no evidence to prove any foul play, there is little question amongst their peerage that Mjara played a heavy-handed role in their husband's passing.After a few years, Mjara married again, to one Lord Julien Abadtois. It was fated to be short-lived, however, as Lord Abadtois disappeared mysteriously just a year shy of their second anniversary. Even now, some few years later, Julien's fate is unknown. No trace of the man, living nor dead, has been found.

ishgard Presently, Mjara spends most of their time in Ishgard, the city they lament to call their home. Though they are, by all legality, a noble-- much of their peerage considers them an outsider, a plague upon their polite society. Indeed, Mjara is often prone to scandal and stirring up gossip. It is curious to some that they speak with such disdain for the city, yet opts to remain-- though most assume this is due to their lavish, cushy lifestyle. velvet vixen Perhaps their favorite location to perform, the Velvet Vixen is a rich, luxurious club for those looking to indulge in sultry shows. Located in Ul'dah, Mjara relishes every opportunity they get to both observe and entertain.
